Fourth of July Weekend – Brazoria, TX
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Jacob and I went to visit his family in Brazoria, TX. It’s a small town about 4 hours away, outside of Houston. We always have a blast going there because they have a lot of space where we play volleyball, corn hole, horse shoes, throw the football around, make fires (when it’s cold), and pop fireworks. During the summer time, his cousins will rent a really big waterslide, or like this year, an adult slip-n-slide. On Friday, we also helped build an above-ground pool, so we got to enjoy that for a bit while we were there. I feel so grateful for his family because every time we go, they welcome us and our friends with open arms, and they work so hard to make sure we have a great time. Since we usually have at least 10 people there, we’ll just turn their living room into a huge bed with air mattresses, pillows, and blankets and have a big slumber party. It’s such a great time!
Normally while we’re there, we don’t take many pictures, but I was able to snap a few this weekend. It was HOT and super sticky, especially since they live closer to the coast, but we lived! I can’t wait to go back in the fall. Today, we’re just recovering and trying to rest up, we have another busy weekend ahead!
