I tried a lot of new beauty products this Summer….some I loved, some I hated. But these are the products that I loved and used constantly, and will definitely be transitioning them into the coming Fall season. To me, there are no rules in beauty and makeup. Many beauty gurus and makeup artists only use certain products in the Summer. Moving into Fall, they stay away from anything bronzed, glowy, dewy, or sparkly. They lighten up on the highlight and focus more on matte looks and darker shades. I love a good smoky eye and a plum or cranberry lip, especially in the Fall, but I also still love glowy, highlighted skin and a bright face. And wavy, textured, beachy hair is still my favorite look, no matter the season! So, I chose these products that would typically be used in the Summer that I think can also be used throughout the entire year.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist – I’ve talked about this product before and I’m already on my second bottle! I spray this all over my face after I tone and before I moisturize. It provides the perfect amount of moisture and keeps my skin hydrated and dewy throughout the whole day.

MAC Strobe Cream (Goldlite) – This is one of my new favorite products. I apply this cream all over my face before I apply foundation, or even when I’m not wearing makeup. It provides my skin with a natural glow, and makes it look more youthful. There are different shades of the Strobe Cream, but Goldlite is my favorite for my skin tone. I love the shade Pinklite for lighter skin tones.

Ouai Wave Spray – I bought a travel size bottle of this to try it out, and you guys….it’s amazing. I spray this in my hair after I curl it, and not only does it make the curls/waves last all day, it also adds some volume to my hair without making it “crunchy”. It gives my hair that “undone”, beachy look, which is my personal favorite way of wearing my hair. I will definitely be purchasing the full bottle!

Stila Glitter Liquid Eye Shadow (Smoky Storm) – Like I said, there are no rules in makeup. Summer is the season for all things glitter! But this liquid eye shadow is one I will use year ’round. I love the look of glitter on the eye lids, but it’s not always easy or convenient to apply. That’s why this one is the best if you’re looking for something easy, quick, and user friendly. Not only is the color range of these shadows so stunning, but the glitter is the perfect intensity and isn’t too over the top, like some glitter looks can be.

Cover FX Liquid Enhancer Drops (Sunlight) – This is a product I will never stop using! I add 1-2 drops to my foundation and it gives my skin that tanned, glowy finish. That is my favorite type of look for my skin, no matter the season! I will sometimes add a little bit to the high points of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose for when I want a more natural highlight.

Anastasia Lip Gloss (St. Tropez) – This lip gloss reminds me of Summer because of the slight gold tint it has. I also think it plumps up your lips a bit because of the high shine and the gold reflects. I love a really good matte lip, especially for Fall, but this gloss will be a staple for me throughout the entire year.

I personally am so excited for Summer to end. Fall is my favorite time of year, not only because of the weather and the holidays, but because Fall fashion and makeup is my absolute favorite!
