I am all for spending an hour on my makeup when I can, but that’s only because I love to do it and it’s fun for me. I’m also aware that most of us don’t have that kind of time on a daily basis, myself included. Whether you’re a mom, a student, a working girl, or you just want that extra 30 minutes of sleep in the morning, having a quick makeup routine is essential for our crazy lives.
My current routine is super quick and easy, so I figured I would share it with you guys. Because I love trying out new products and makeup looks, my routine sometimes changes, but for now, this is what works for me. This makeup look is not only fast, but you will still look put together without having to try that hard.
Since there’s a video in this post, I won’t go over the same details I talk about in the video, but I did want to leave some tips that I think are important to help cut down the time!
Tip 1: Use a foundation or powder that provides a good amount of coverage with just one layer. You’ll also want to use something that is really easy to blend. Some foundations have great coverage, but it takes a while to blend them out. This one is my current favorite because the coverage is amazing, it’s so easy to blend, and it has a very natural finish.
Tip 2: Use bronzer as eye shadow. This is one of my favorite beauty tips that I swear by, because to me, it makes a huge difference in your face when you quickly sweep bronzer all over your lids and through your crease. And you don’t have to grab for any eye shadow. The bronzer just adds quick color without having to worry about spending a ton of time blending.
Tip 3: Use highlighter to bring out your face and make it look fresh, youthful, and glowy. I know that to some people, using highlighter is intimidating, but I promise if you use one that gives a more natural glow, it will change your makeup game. This one is my all time favorite “glow from within” highlight, but if you’re looking for a more affordable one, I’ve been loving this one from the drug store. As you’ll see in the video, because it has a more natural finish, it’s super easy to apply.
Tip 4: Use an eyebrow tint rather than filling in your brows. Doing this will cut so much time, and it will still give your brows some life. I love the Benefit Gimme Brow, but I just realized that it got discontinued. So another option is this one, which I hear is just as good and much cheaper.
I hope y’all enjoyed the video and that some of these tips will help. Please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel! I appreciate all of your love and support.
