Does anyone else feel like February was about 4 days long? I swear I blinked and it was over! I tried some new products during this month that I have really been loving, and of course wanted to share them with y’all! I think all of these are going to be new staples for me.
Anastasia x Amrezy Highlighter – Out of all the new products I tried, this one is definitely on the top of my list. This highlighter is the perfect shade and it gives your skin the most beautiful glow without it looking powdery or glittery, like lots of highlighters do. It has a very smooth and radiant finish, and I HIGHLY recommend it if you’ve been searching for a go-to highlight. This is a limited edition, so grab it while you can!
Burt’s Bees Blush – I have the shade “Toasted Cinnamon”, and it’s definitely not as brown as the photos show. It does have a brown undertone, but when you put it on, it has more of a terracotta finish. On my skin tone, this blush is a really great nude shade, which I love for every day, but I also think this shade would be gorgeous on lighter skin tones. I really like the finish of this blush, and it blends really nicely on the skin. Unfortunately this blush is sold out everywhere, but I was able to get lucky and find it at CVS. I would definitely keep checking on this one. It’s worth it!
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector – I have sooo many good things to say about this product. Not only does it help brighten and color correct underneath your eyes, but it serves as a really great primer for underneath concealer. I have a big issue with my concealer creasing because I have one big smile line under my eyes, and this really prevents the creasing from happening. It’s also very hydrating, so it keeps the area under my eyes from getting really dry. I apply it with my finger and then blend it out with my Beauty Blender. Then I apply concealer on top of it. I love that Becca just came out with a darker shade for medium-dark skin tones, because I have tried the lighter shade in the past and it just didn’t work for me. If you have dark circles, or you have an issue with discoloration under your eyes, or you simply just want something to help with your concealer creasing, then you need this product in your life!
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb – I am very picky with glosses, which is why I don’t tend to grab for them very often. A lot of them are really sticky, thick, and just uncomfortable. I heard great things about this one so I just had to try it, and I am officially obsessed! This gloss is so comfortable and doesn’t get thick and sticky, even after you’ve been wearing it for a while. And it has really great wear-power for a gloss. Lots of them don’t last long on the lips. I also really love the high-shine finish, and the color is gorgeous. I think it would look great on any skin tone.
MAC Waterweight Drop Concealer – This is a super lightweight concealer that I think is great for those “no-makeup” days, or days where you want a little coverage but still want to look dewy and light on the makeup. One drop of this concealer is really all you need because a little goes a LONG way. I like this concealer because it’s really hydrating and lightweight, yet it still provides a good amount of coverage.
InvisiBobble Hair Ties – I don’t think I will ever use regular hair ties again after using these. They give a really firm, yet comfortable hold without it being too tight and harsh on the hair. It also doesn’t pull on your hair or leave creases when you take your hair down. Just buy them! You won’t be disappointed.
If you guys have tried any of these products, I’d love to know what you think in the comments! I hope y’all have a great rest of the week!
