Today’s post is all about HAIR! My go-to hair style for years has been that messy, textured, wavy look. Not only because I think it looks amazing, but also because it’s SO EASY and FAST! When I wear my hair like this, I always get compliments and questions on how I get my hair to look so wavy when my hair is naturally straight. So today, I’m going step by step and showing you guys exactly what I do! If you prefer to see the video, that’s linked below!

• STEP 1: the evening before you wear your hair wavy, take a shower and put your hair up in a towel for about 15 minutes to soak up all the excess water in your hair.
• STEP 2: This is optional, but to me is a necessary step. Add a pea sized amount of argan oil or some type of serum to your hair while it’s damp. I use THIS ONE and it’s my absolute favorite! This will help keep your hair soft and shiny.
• STEP 3: Put your hair up in a messy bun as high up on top of your head as possible (see video for how I do mine). My favorite hair ties are linked HERE.
• STEP 4: Go about your nightly routine and then go to sleep!
• STEP 5: When you’re ready to do your hair the next morning, take down your hair. It should be pretty wavy and messy, and it will also be a little damp. That’s normal.
• STEP 6: Begin curling random pieces with a 1″ curling wand. Pick out the pieces of hair that are somewhat straight, and pay more attention to the hair that surrounds your face. You don’t need to curl every piece of hair. This isn’t supposed to take more than 10ish minutes, so just curl the pieces of hair that really need it.
• STEP 7: Add product to your hair. The most important product that is key in this look is THIS. Spray it evenly around your hair and work it through with your hands, scrunching your waves. This product is a GAME CHANGER for wavy hair and it helps to hold the waves and make them look really natural. *****OPTIONAL: If you want your hair to have more volume, spray THIS in your roots and massage in and push your hair up while massaging. Then finish off with THIS lightweight hairspray. These 3 products are my absolute favorite and I use them together ALL the time. They make such a huge difference!
