Exactly 3 months ago I started taking the Sugar Bear Hair vitamins and I was so excited to see if they would really help my hair grow and make my hair healthier. I had seen so many ads, mostly from huge celebrities, that these vitamins were amazing and they made such a difference. So when they reached out to me offering a 3 month supply and review, I without a doubt accepted.
After the first month of taking them, I didn’t see much of a difference, but I knew that one month wasn’t enough time to be able to see the benefits just yet. But after now taking them for 3 whole months, I have my final thoughts!
The first day I started taking them, I took a “before” photo of my hair and measured it so that I could see how much it grew over time. I finished taking them 2 days ago and took an “after” photo. Here they are side by side, 3 months apart.
What I like:
THE TASTE: I have never tasted a vitamin this good! I swear, every day I would look forward to taking them because it literally tastes like a Scooby Snack lol. So it was a nice little treat that I looked forward to daily.
CLEAN INGREDIENTS: these vitamins have natural ingredients, are gluten-free, gelatin-free, and vegan.
EASY TO TAKE: these are chewable, like gummies, so they are very easy to take and you don’t have to worry about trying to swallow huge pills. And again, it’s basically like you’re eating candy, so no one would have any issues taking these daily!
NO REACTION: some vitamins can make you nauseous or just make you feel a little funny, but I had no reaction to these and felt great the whole time I was taking them!
Overall Verdict:
To be honest, after taking these for 3 months, I really didn’t see much of a difference in my hair health or hair growth. On average, a person with healthy hair will usually see around 1/2 an inch to an inch in hair growth per month. My hair typically grows pretty fast, and in 3 months, my hair grew about 2 1/4 inches total, which isn’t too much different than what it normally grows and is within the average of most people with healthy hair.
I also didn’t really see much of a difference in my overall hair health. Actually, I feel like my hair looked healthier 3 months ago hahaha. I didn’t experience any new hair growth, shinier hair, softer hair, etc… To put it simply, these are definitely not groundbreaking vitamins that are totally going to transform your hair. And I certainly don’t think they are worth spending $30 a month. If you are someone who is looking for a supplement to help with your hair health and hair growth, I would just try taking biotin or collagen before spending the money on these.
Overall, I don’t think these vitamins are a horrible product, but I don’t think they are super revolutionary either. I think it’s a middle of the line vitamin and there are plenty of other things you can take that would have a more beneficial impact on your hair health. As y’all know, I am ALWAYS going to be 100% honest with you when I review products. I will never promote a product and suggest you spend your hard earned money on something that I don’t whole heartedly stand by. Anyway, I hope this review helped!
