Face masks are something that I treat my skin with every week, but something that I’ve always neglected (and honestly never really thought about) were eye masks! If you are an avid face masker, then you know that almost every single face mask avoids the skin around the eye area. Probably because it’s the most delicate skin on your entire body. Which in my opinion, is a reason why we can’t forget to take care of it!
I am pretty positive that if you were to ask 100 women what they want to avoid as they age, 100 of them would say, “fine lines, wrinkles, bags, dark circles”, etc… I had never tried eye masks before, and I’d seen many people wear them to brighten, hydrate, and minimize fine lines. I didn’t know this, but as you age, blood flow slows down, melanin accumulates, and oxygen levels decrease, which is what causes bags, wrinkles, and discoloration around the eye area.
So when VIIcode reached out to me wanting me to try their oxygen eye masks, I couldn’t say no! I was also really intrigued by these because they were overnight masks that you wear for 8 hours while you sleep.
What I love about them:
- They have a soft gel type of feel to them which makes them very comfortable around the eye area.
- They have a cooling, tingly sensation that is really refreshing.
- One box comes with 6 sets of masks, and I think they’re a really great price for what you’re getting.
- I don’t have a lot of lines around my eyes, but after one use, I instantly could see that my under eyes were much smoother and brighter.
- My under eyes are typically pretty dry, and they were visibly more hydrated and plumped.
- They don’t move around at night and they stick to your skin very comfortably without irritation.
So if you are looking for a great eye mask that’s going to brighten, smooth, depuff, and help with dark circles, then these are for you! I have always said that taking care of your skin should be a #1 priority, and I think these would be such a great addition to anyone’s skincare routine.
