Last May, I went on an Alaskan cruise with my best friend and her parents. We stopped in Juneau, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, and Sitka. It was by far the most incredible trip yet! We flew to Seattle and we got to spend a little bit of time there exploring before we sailed off to Alaska. We fell in love with Seattle! Here are a few pictures from our trip. If any of you are thinking of going on a cruise that isn’t beachy, I would highly recommend the Holland America cruise line!
These pictures were taken at the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau:
Another photo taken from the ship when we arrived in Juneau:
Cruising through Glacier Bay. I took this photo from the ship:
I snapped this photo as we were headed back to the ship in Ketchikan. I loved the look of all the little boats and well….the background isn’t too bad either.
Alaskan selfie! We went on a short walk through this forest in Sitka. It was gorgeous.
And this was our view…
The last part of our trip was in Canada, so we headed to The Butchart Gardens in Victoria. It was INCREDIBLE. We seriously felt like we were in a fairy tale.
I’ve never been to a place so breathtaking as Alaska. I can’t wait to go back someday!
